The staff members are periodically updated on new technique of carrying out their work more effectively and efficiently through series of training programs and workshops in the office. The training meetings cover broad areas from attitude to work to project planning, design and implementation.
The office also organizes workshop for her community mentors, counselors teachers and mobilizers who are participating in her programs. The staff also participated in external training programs to improve their skills.
Every year at least 6 students from University of Jos are sent to the Center to acquire experience on development work. The period of internships usually last for six months. Since inception Center for Children in Crisis have helped trained about 24 interns who have now developed interest in children issues. Many of them have taken up full time or voluntary work with the Centre.
